Ladies and Gentlemen, the Year 2000 Has Finally Arrived
This guy has built a real, honest-to-dog jet-pack and flew it successfully for five minutes. He developed it himself at the cost of $285,000 and "countless hours." Mind you, there are still limitations to be overcome. The suit weighs 120 pounds, so lugging it around before you take off and after you touch down could be a problem; a few months of that, and you'll be so ripped you won't have to jet to work, you could probably run there without breaking a sweat.

But I still want my flying car...
